Beginner quick-start
Watch each step, then do it. About five minutes of reading — no training needed.
Create your organiser account.
Email and password, or continue with Google. Everything you build stays private to your account.
Name, date, location — that's it to start.
You can add branding, emergency contacts and defaults later in Settings.
Upload the GPX and the route draws itself.
Set distance, start time and expected front-runner / sweeper paces so mrshl can work out when runners reach each point.
Click the map wherever you need someone.
Points near a route auto-link to the right race and km marker. Already planned it in Google My Maps? Import the whole lot in one go.
Who you need, when, and how many.
Fixed times, or a release condition like “stay until the sweeper passes you”.
Share one sign-up link and fill the roster.
Volunteers register themselves — no account needed — and get a thank-you email automatically. Then you drop them onto shifts, or ask CrewMate AI to fill the gaps.
Every volunteer gets their own page.
Map pin, timings, parking, contacts and a QR code. Print them all as one PDF, or as lanyard cards for the day.
Check people in and watch coverage live.
Gaps and no-shows are flagged as they happen. Afterwards, the thank-you email — with each volunteer's own discount code if you want — goes out for you the next day.
