Copyright information

The mrshl name, logo, wordmark, website, software, page designs, brief and lanyard layouts, written guides and marketing copy are owned by mrshl or used under licence. They are protected by copyright, database rights and trade mark law.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, resell, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our written permission.

Everything you put into mrshl — your events, course points, route files, volunteer records, sign-up form questions, briefing copy, logos and uploaded documents — remains your property. We claim no ownership of it.

You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content solely so we can operate the service for you: generating briefs, running sign-up pages, and showing your data back to you and the volunteers you share it with.

Marshal briefs, lanyard cards, rosters, CSV exports and reports produced by mrshl from your data are yours to print, distribute and reuse for your events, with no attribution required.

Map tiles, fonts, route data and any imported content remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their own licence terms. Route files and map pins you import stay subject to the terms of wherever you obtained them.

Client and event logos shown on our website are the trade marks of their owners and are displayed with permission to identify the events concerned.

You may state that your event is organised using mrshl, and link to us. Please don't alter our logo, imply a partnership or endorsement that doesn't exist, or use our brand in a way that could cause confusion.

If you believe material on mrshl infringes your copyright, contact us with a description of the work, where it appears, and your contact details. We investigate every report and remove infringing material where a claim is substantiated.
