What mrshl is

mrshl is volunteer management software for endurance race directors. It holds your course, the positions you need staffed, the people staffing them, the briefs they receive and the live picture on race morning — in one place, tied to the route rather than to a list of names.

Why it exists

Almost every community race in the country is staffed out of a spreadsheet, a group chat and a printed map. It works until someone drops out on the Friday night. The failure is structural: the volunteer list and the course live in different documents and quietly stop agreeing. mrshl merges them.

Who it is for

Race directors and volunteer coordinators running road races, trail and ultra events, cycling events and time trials, triathlons and multi-event weekends — from a 200-runner 10k to a 100km mountain ultra with 40 staffed points across 18 hours.

How we build it

Features come from the jobs organisers actually do the week before a race: brief generation, parking instructions, waitlists when a shift fills, and pasting an existing volunteer list straight in from a spreadsheet. Everything ships behind published release notes so you can see exactly what changed and when.

Data and volunteers

Volunteers sign up through a mobile web form with no account and nothing to install. Your volunteer waiver text is stored per event, with a snapshot of the exact wording each person accepted, and volunteer records belong to your account across every event you run.

Get your crew ready for race day

Start with your course and crew, not another spreadsheet to maintain. Explore the setup yourself or talk it through with us.

£24 per event when your first volunteer signs up or is added. No subscription. Email sending extra, at cost.
